25 grams butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
6 medium-sized onions, peeled and sliced thin slices
Salt and black pepper
A little vinegar (as desired)
1 Heat the oil or butter in the pot.
- Add the onion slices and stir over low heat between time and time until the onions fade and yell
Color (20 – 25 minutes).
- Sprinkle the sugar over the onions while still flipping over the fire for 5 minutes.
Add the vinegar, salt and black pepper and leave to boil for 15 minutes.
- Bring the soup with French toast slices.
- To make French toast slices, cut a loaf of French bread into thick slices
And sprinkle with grated cheese and place under the grill until the cheese melts.
